- Delivery appointments are typically scheduled 24-48 hours in advance
- Someone must be present to receive and inspect the shipment
- Commercial addresses typically receive faster delivery than residential addresses
Important: Freight shipments require immediate inspection upon delivery. See the Delivery & Inspection section below.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- Item size and weight
- Destination address
- Shipping method selected
- Insurance value
Free shipping: We may offer free shipping promotions on select items or order minimums. Free shipping applies to standard ground shipping to the contiguous United States only. Alaska, Hawaii, and expedited shipping methods are excluded from free shipping offers. Check product pages or contact us for current offers.
Trade account benefits: Wholesale and trade program members may qualify for discounted or complimentary shipping on qualifying orders. Contact us for details about trade account shipping benefits.
Shipping insurance: Basic carrier coverage is included with all shipments, but may not cover the full product value. Additional shipping protection may be available at checkout for enhanced coverage and claims handling.
Delivery & Inspection
Critical: Inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
Due to the fragile nature of framed artwork, it's essential to inspect your shipment as soon as it arrives, even if you don't plan to install the piece immediately.
All issues must be reported within 5 business days of delivery. This includes shipping damage, manufacturing defects, incorrect items shipped, missing components, or any quality concerns.
Upon delivery:
- Inspect the exterior packaging - Note any visible damage to the box or crate before signing for delivery
- Document damage - If the package appears damaged, take photos and note it on the delivery receipt
- Unpack carefully - Remove all protective materials and inspect the artwork and frame for damage
- Report damage within 5 days - Contact us immediately if you discover any damage (see our Return Policy for details)
- Keep all packaging - Retain boxes, crating, and protective materials until you've confirmed the piece is undamaged
Refusing damaged shipments: If a package shows significant external damage, you have the right to refuse delivery. Contact us immediately at service@artcollectiv.com or (941) 264-8300, and we'll arrange a replacement shipment.
Concealed damage: Damage not visible on the exterior packaging should be reported within 5 days with photographic documentation. We will work with you and our shipping carrier to resolve the issue.
